Democracy at work

News has come to my ears of a slight fracas at the Fitton Preservation Society. There is disagreement, apparently, on whether the focus of Scrubbers Week should be removing moss from the gravestones in the churchyard or old chewing gum from the undersides of the pews in the church. Both sides are adamant that their chosen project should have priority.

In the interests of democracy, I suggest that those members of the Society who have recently taken something of a ‘backseat role’ should contact the chair, Jackie Hemming, as soon as possible to cast their vote.
